Privacy Policy

The short version first: your PDF files never leave your device.

This Privacy Policy explains what happens to information when you use LabelKit (https://smartlablecrop.com, the "Site"). Please read it before using the tools.

1. The short version

  • The files you open in our tools are processed inside your own web browser. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else.
  • We do not ask you to register, and we do not run a user database.
  • We show advertisements supplied by Google. Google and its partners may set cookies in your browser. That is the main way information about you is collected on this Site.

2. Your PDF files

When you choose a PDF in the Flipkart Label Crop, Meesho Label Crop or Merge PDF tool, the file is read by JavaScript running on the page you already have open. The cropping or merging happens in your device's memory, and the result is handed straight back to your browser as a download.

Concretely, this means:

  • We never receive your file, so we cannot read, copy, store or share it.
  • The customer names, addresses and phone numbers printed on shipping labels are never transmitted anywhere by this Site.
  • Nothing is kept after you close or reload the page.

You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and process a file. You will see the page download its PDF libraries (see section 5), but no request that sends your file anywhere.

3. Information we collect directly

Almost none. We do not operate accounts, newsletters, comment sections or contact forms that submit to us. If you choose to email us, we will hold that email and any attachment you send only for as long as it takes to answer you and fix the issue you reported.

Like virtually every web host, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting. We do not use those logs to build profiles of visitors.

4. Cookies and advertising

This Site is free to use and is funded by advertising.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this Site or other sites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices.
  • Third-party advertising vendors may be used on this Site; where they are, they may also place cookies. We do not control those cookies.
  • Google explains how it uses data collected on sites that show its ads at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Where the law requires it, for example for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, you will be asked for consent through a consent message provided by Google before advertising cookies are used, and you can change that choice later.

You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. The tools on this Site will continue to work normally with cookies disabled.

5. Analytics and other third-party services

If and when we use a web analytics service, it will be used only to count page views and understand which tools are used most. We do not combine analytics data with anything that identifies you personally, and no analytics service ever receives the contents of your files.

To load quickly, pages fetch a few files from outside providers. Like any web request, these share your IP address and browser details with the provider, but never your PDF files:

6. Children

This Site is aimed at business users and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your rights

Because we do not build user profiles or hold accounts, there is normally no personal data of yours for us to show, correct or delete. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, write to us and we will remove it.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over data collected by advertising partners. The opt-out links in section 4 are the most direct way to exercise them.

8. Security

The Site is served over HTTPS. Because your documents never reach a server of ours, the most common risk in this category, a data breach exposing uploaded files, does not apply here.

9. Third-party links

Some pages link to other websites, such as the open-source projects we use or the marketplaces themselves. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please read their own policies.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Site changes. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
